Hate crime remembrance vigil

On Saturday 12 October, Kingston LGBT Forum will be attending a special act of remembrance and renewal at St Paul's Cathedral to mark the beginning of this year's Hate Crime Awareness Week, which take places 12-19 October.

The event will involve:
  • Music from the London Gay Men's Chorus
  • Guest speakers
  • Lighting of the Candle of Hope and Remembrance
  • Poetry from Dean Atta, reading 'To LGBT Russia with Love'

There will be a party from the borough who will be travelling together. If you wish to join us en route, you can meet us at the following times and locations:
  • 17:15 outside Surbiton Station
  • On the 17:27 train from Surbiton to London Waterloo
  • 17:55 under the clock at Waterloo Station
  • 18:20 at St Paul's cathedral
