As an organisation with a full Constitution, the Kingston LGBT Forum must hold an Annual General Meeting once a year. At this event we present reports on what we have been doing over the past year, what we've got right, and what we've got wrong. This might sound boring but there are plenty of other things we do at the event to brighten it up a bit!
What are we doing this year?
Reviewing our Constitution
At our AGM this year we will be voting on proposed changes to the Forum's Constitution, it is highly important that all our members take a look at the changes at the link bellow, as there will be limited time to read through on the day. You can take a look at the changes here.
At the AGM all our Committee will be standing down so we can hold fresh elections. There are 12 Committee positions, including the 3 Executive Officer positions or Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, and Secretary. For role descriptions of all the positions, as well as registering you interest in running for election you can visit here.
As usual, Kingston University are kindly donating a room for us to use as a venue for the AGM. It will be held at the Kingston University Penrhyn Road Campus, John Galsworthy Building Room 5014. See bellow for a map of where the campus is, and a map of the campus itself.
