London LGBT Pride 2015

Our Events for London LGBT Pride 2015:

Pre-Pride Meeting: Tuesday 23rd June
This weekend is one of the biggest in the Kingston LGBT Forum's calendar, its London LGBT Pride! The event though can be quite hectic, so we are having a pre-pride meeting this Tuesday 23rd June so we can go through the plans for the whole weekend.

This is also the perfect opportunity to find out more about Pride itself if you have never been before!

The meeting will take place at 7pm in Room 4008, John Galsworthy Building, Kingston University, Penrhyn Road (our usual meeting room). Find the Facebook event for the meeting here

Pride Parade: Saturday 27th June
Every year the Kingston LGBT Forum takes part in the London Pride Parade and this year we are carrying on with that tradition!

The theme for this year is #PrideHeroes so the Forum are encouraging everyone to either dress up as your favourite LGBT hero or wear a fantastical hero cape! (optional)

The plan for the day is as follows:
  • 10:00 - Meet at Kingston Station
  • 10:30 - Kingston train leaves
  • 11:00 - Arrival at London Waterloo
  • 11:20 - Tube to Baker Street Tube Station
  • 11:45 - Form up on Baker Street itself (just before the corner with Paddington Street)
  • 13:00 - Parade moves off
  • 16:00 - Parade finishes
On the day you can meet us at three different meeting points:
  • Kingston Train Station between 10-10:30
  • London Waterloo Station 11-11:20
  • Baker Street (just before the corner with Paddington Street) 11:45-13:00

Pride in the Park: Sunday 28th June
Pride in the Park returns to the Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens the day after the main Pride Parade and the Kingston LGBT Forum are going! It's the perfect place to wind down, to relax with friends, and to celebrate LGBT equality!

The Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens are a 5minute walk from Vauxhall Station, and next door to the Royal Vauxhall Tavern. Join the Kingston LGBT Forum to enjoy the live entertainment, music, dance, sport, and food & drink.

We'll be meeting in the gardens from 1pm on the day, just look out for our banner! You can find our Facebook event for Pride in the Park here
