Kingston LGBT History Month: Geocaching

Saturday 22 February, 2014
11am - 2pm

Get active outdoors and explore the borough with other LGB&T people (rain, shine or snow). We're going Geocaching!

Never heard of Geocaching before? Check out this video:

There are hundreds of Geocaches hidden all over Kingston and we'll be heading out to find some of them. As it's LGBT History Month, we'll be leaving a small fact about LGB&T history in each Geocache that we find, so as to spread the word of our history to other unsuspecting Geocachers.

If there are enough people registered we'll divide into two teams and turn the event into a race, logging as many geocaches as possible before reaching the finish point.

Geocaching is an outdoor activity and does involve a lot of walking. To take part, you must be able to walk a distance of at least 5km and not be bothered by whatever the weather throws at us.

At the end of the event, we'll head to the Coronation Hall in Surbiton for victory drinks.

Registration for this event is essential. Please leave your name and email address below. There is no limit to the number of people who can be involved in this event. You must check your email address the evening before the event as this is how we will tell you which team you're on and where your starting location is.
