We are very excited to announce the formation of a Transgender and Intersex Group as part of the Kingston Forum.
What is happening?
Initially we plan to meet once a month, alternating between the Quaker Centre in Kingston and a coffee shop, pub or park, depending on what the restrictions allow. As the group develops and we get to know each other, we hope you will tell us what you would like from the group, so we can build it up in a way that supports us all.
The first event will be on Sunday 25th July at 11am in a park in Kingston or Surbiton (details to be added closer to the time).
Who can take part?
At this stage, our intention is that the group is for people who identify as Transgender or are Intersex, and not for allies or partners.
We use the term Transgender in the broadest sense, including those that identify as non-binary, gender-fluid, asexual or are questioning their gender identity. Also, there is no such thing as not trans enough – as long as you are a little trans, you are welcome to come along.
How to get involved
If you would like to be part of the group or have any questions, please contact us via the form below where you can ask a question or join our mailing list.
We look forward to meeting you!
